Due to its incredible durability and versatility concrete has been able to create some of the most incredible structures that Concrete Stroud Have ever been built. examples of concrete buildings date back to prehistoric times and not just in our modern world. Concrete Stroud based merchants Monster Mix Are certainly up to the challenge of recreating some of these larger pieces but for the most part, they’ll happily work on domestic duties beforehand.

The Pantheon in Rome is actually made of concrete.  It remains the largest unreinforced concrete dome that has ever been seen.  It’s an incredible achievement and illustrates how brilliant the Romans were at creating substructures.  It was built in 125 AD as a major temple.

Another temple of a different kind is the Hoover Dam in Nevada.   Finished in 1936 the Dam is certainly up there as one of the modern wonders of the world.  It provides two uses, one as a water source for what is a particularly arid part of the United States and also as a massive hydroelectric power generator.  The designers also found time to add some art deco flourishes as well.

The Great Wall of China is wrongly perceived as able to be seen from space but this isn’t the most interesting fact about it.  The wall indeed consists of huge blocks of stone sticking them together with some incredibly impressive layers of concrete.  Some of this is still in existence today and remains as strong as when it was first applied.
