We all appreciate a good tree and forest. As the tree provides much needed Oxygen and reduces carbon, plus they lower the local temperature with heat absorption, it might not be a bad idea to have a few growing in the garden of your home. New trees produce more oxygen and absorb more carbon when they are growing so you will actually be helping to reduce your carbon footprint in the process. Trees need care both throughout their life.

One of things you need to consider is the size of the tree and the garden. If you have a small one a mighty Oak is not going to be the answer, although by the time it reaches that size you will have probably moved on.

If you are looking to buy a home in Birmingham or someone is looking to buy yours, chances are they have used the people of Sam Conveyancing with a home buyers Survey Birmingham service.

You need to consider the height and the spread of the tree and its position in the garden. You don’t want it too close to the house for example as this will reduce light and it’s better to have it placed as a feature somewhere and have accompanying complimentary flowers around it.

Some of the best ornamental trees for this are the Magnolia species that produce Pink and yellow flowers or the Weeping silver pear. In fact a nice small fruti free such as an apple can be very beneficial and even give you some decent fruit as a snack.
