It is now time for many of us to start heading back to the office and away from our homes that have also doubled up as workplaces over the past year or so. For some people this is something that they are only too pleased to embrace, as working from home can be a lonely life, especially for those used to having a lot of people around them normally when they are at work.

For others it is something that they may be a little fearful of, or will miss – for many, working from home was an opportunity to work in peace and quiet and avoid the dreaded commute. For many it may even be a mix of feelings. So, this is something to bear in mind when welcoming people back into the office.

Getting the office ready for people to work in again is something that most workplaces need to do. As well as making sure that it is safe, it is also a good idea to make it a welcoming environment – new furniture for example is something nice to come back to. Have a look for new chairs at this local office chairs Gloucester based company Severn Furnishing.

It is also good to have a cleaning regime in place. As well as having a regular thorough clean done by a professional cleaning company, have a rota for staff to clean doorhandles and other regularly touched things throughout the day to reduce spread of illness.
